In this Physics (Digital Electronics) video in Hindi for B.Sc. and B.Tech. we explained the working of full subtractor and constructed its circuit diagram using truth table. full subtractor accepts two binary digits and subtract the subtrahend from the minuend. It can produce the borrow as well as it can deal with borrow in from the previous operation. This differentiates a full subtractor from a half subtractor. The possible cases are 1-1, 0-0, 1-0 and 0-1. For the last case we need to borrow 1 from the next operation, so, the full subtractor needs to produce a borrow information either 0 (no borrow) or 1 (borrow). Then the full subtractor needs to produce another digit for difference. So a full subtractor has two outputs and to accept two digits as well as borrow in it has three inputs. • In this video we, at first, explained the working of a full adder, then we constructed the truth table. After that we wrote the boolean expression for difference and borrow.
