On the weekend of 18th and 19th of February 2012, the Australian Railway Historical Society ran their always very popular Winelander tour to Stanthorpe and Wallangarra, using a QR National Diesel locomotive and airconditioned Sunlander carriages. • • A rare cross was made at Hendon, with the Southern Downs Steam Railway's C17 971 returning from Clifton after a trial run and can be seen at the 12:47 mark in the video.
