I talk a lot about nutrition with my athletes, everything from how to fuel an Ironman or long gravel race, to daily workout fueling, to losing - or gaining - weight. • You need good fuel to do the workouts and racing, and you need good fuel to recover from the same. • You're fueling for performance. • That means good - and a lot of - protein, carbohydrates, and fats. • How it gets structured depends on your work: Long or intense runs or rides require some carbohydrate, for example. • I have a certification in nutrition and love to help others think through what, how, and when they eat.
