May not cast powers NEXT round. • ➣Drain Life ➣ Drain 2 points from an enemy to gain 2 yourself. (Amplified by Death Field) • ➣Spell Shield ➣ Starting NEXT round, deploy a Spell Shield which waits for an enemy spell, it is then consumed and shields you for up to 5 health that round. Untriggered, it expires after 3 rounds. • ➣ Shield Ally ➣ Apply a Spell Shield to another player at a discounted rate. • ➣Storm ➣ Deal 1 damage to random targets. (May hit the same person multiple times, and number of targets increases with number of players present). • NOTE: SPELLS ARE CAST IN ORDER: LIGHT SIDE - DARK SIDE • Also, with MEMBERSHIPS, you'll be able to use custom emojis to declare your powers! • The default number of rounds is 20. This number may be altered under certain circumstances. • ________________________________ • ◈◈◈ SECRETS EXPLAINED ◈◈◈ • After achieving a streak of 3 correct answers, you gain a SECRET which remains hidden and waits for something to trigger it. You may obtain randomly 1 of 6 available secrets and no one knows what the secret is until it triggers. The currently available secrets can do the following: • ➣➣➣ Rush = When secret detects you provided a correct answer, you gain 2 additional points. • ➣➣➣ Soul Syphon = When secret detects 2+ other players answered incorrectly, drain -1 point from each. • ➣➣➣ Mend = When secret detects damage, it heals you for up to 2 points. • ➣➣➣ Spell reflect = When secret detects DRAIN LIFE or FORCE STORM directed at you, it reflects it back to its source. (Drain Life will not yield in healing for you as a result of reflection) • ➣➣➣ Spell steal = When secret detects an enemy SPELL SHIELD deployment, it steals the shield and grants it to you. • ➣➣➣ Stasis = Freeze all enemies, preventing them from answering or casting spells this round. Triggered upon round beginning. May be resisted by shields. • Secrets expire after 3 rounds, and reward 3 points once they expire. Enemy secrets can be DESTROYED by DRAIN LIFE or FORCE STORMS (as long as the secret in question is not Spell Reflection and if the player does not have an active Spell Shield). If a secret is destroyed the streak is broken, preventing the player from obtaining a new secret for 4 rounds. • ________________________________ • HINTS • ➣➣➣ Force Bond: Bind yourself to enemies to prevent them from forming strategic bonds to others. Also, bond yourself to an enemy when you expect them to gain additional points. For instance, if someone has a secret expiring, bind to them before the round and collect their points too! Also use when Global Rush (x2 points) is coming! • ➣➣➣ Drain Life: Make sure you can use it for Death Field effects (Occurring Round 15, 20,25,30) when Drain Life impacts are DOUBLED! Also use it on enemies tied with a force bond to deal more damage. • ➣➣➣ Storm: Use it to take off Shields or destroy Secrets. • ➣➣➣ Spell Shield: Use it when you're in the lead, as you're more likely to be a target! Use Shields on the second round of your secret, to ensure it can expire safely and you can collect those extra points! Shield allies you're bonded to in order to prevent incoming damage. • ➣➣➣Dark Side Embrace (AURA): Keep an eye on your Spell Points. If you need an extra point or two before Death Field, purposefully answer wrong to ensure you can use it in time!
