Savage BMag 17WSM Why You DONT Want One

We got our hands on a Savage B-Mag, and found out that the bolt won't cock on safe! That alone is enough reason not to want one! Just too potentially confusing when a safety does anything other than disable the ability to fire the gun. Really? A safety that prevents the gun from cocking but allows the gun to appear to function? If it locked the bolt so it couldn't be actuated, well OK I might not like it but I wouldn't get into the position of thinking it's going to fire when it won't. • The .17 WSM round was ok I suppose, fast yes, but this test was really more about the rifle than the ammo.
