But I’m not most people. I decided to take take a 15 hour ferry from Bari Italy to Igoumenitsa Greece! I didn’t get much sleep, but it was the best decision I made. And a crazy adventure! There are two types of seats. Ones with cabins and ones without. As a budget backpacker, I decided to be a bit crazy and buy the cheap deck tickets without a cabin. I figured it’d be an adventure, but I wouldn’t have guessed what it was really like in a hundred years. • No one told me to pack camping gear, but apparently on Greek ferries, everyone literally pitches a tent or a sleeping bag wherever they can find space right around sunset. Warning, if you decided to sleep outside, it might be a bit chilly with the wind, unless you have a tent. Don’t forget to tie it down securely, so it doesn’t fly away. • Here’s the site I used to book my ferry, it’s a comparison site, so will get you a good deal: https://www.directferries.co.uk/bari_... • Cost varies depending on the day. But $50-$60 for a desk ticket is normal and $125-$150 for a cabin. • That’s it for this week, next week I will be exploring Athens Greece! • • Subscribe to Tamera’s Travels: / @tamerastravel9348 • • Join Me On: • / tamerastravels • / tamerastravels • / tamerastravels • Don’t forget to comment below with any questions or suggestions of where I should travel to next! • And if you have a topic you want me to make a video about or have a travel questions use #AskTamera in the comments. • About Tamera’s Travels: • My goal is to travel to every country in the world and be the second women to have do it!
