For you to backup or restore • 00:23 • QCN, you need to have boot the device or enabled Diagnostic mode • 00:28 • on the device. We have a guide on how to enable Diag mode on your Qualcomm Android device. You also • 00:33 • need to have installed your QFIL from QPST • 00:37 • Now, don't forget that the QCN helps you fix NV related issues like baseband • 00:43 • issues, IMEI issues, network detection issues and rests alright? Now once you • 00:49 • have the device in Diag mode, you connect it to the PC while still powered on then you • 00:55 • launch QFIL. Once QFIL comes up, you'll see the device detected as Qualcomm • 01:07 • HS-USB Android DIAG. So now this device is in Diagnostic mode and its detected • 01:13 • correctly. Now, you head over to Tools, click on QCN Backup Restore. Take note of the • 01:19 • path where your QCN file is going to get saved to. • 01:22 • alright and then you click Backup QCN. • 01:28 • Once you do that, you'll see the status here. Now to restore, it's the same procedure; your device in diagnostic • 02:28 • mode but this time around, you select Browse and then you • 02:39 • select the QCN file which you intend to restore and then you select Restore • 02:45 • QCN.
