In this video, you'll learn how to change clip duration in Davinci Resolve. I will show you 3 ways you can do it, depending on what you're trying to accomplish. These three ways are the most effective methods of changing clip duration. • The first method is really simple. You can set the desired duration of your clip/video before even adding it to the timeline! You do this by setting an in point and outpoint, which I show you how to do. • The second method shows you how to change the length of the clip by simply extending it, which also extends the amount of time it occupies in the timeline. Ergo clip/video duration is changed. If you like this way you can also change the duration of multiple clips at the same time, which I show you how to do afterward. • In the third method, I show you how to change the duration to a precise number (seconds, minutes, hours, etc.). This method is awesome if you want your clip to be for example plain 5 seconds.
