Setting Up A Finale or Dorico File with DropSpin Metronome

We're going to take a look at how you can use DropSpin metronome with Dorico and Finale. DropSpin is an incredible web-based metronome (also an app) that can load a MusicXML file and create a customized metronome for practice and rehearsal. We're going to take a look at this extremely powerful tool and the import process as well as the export process from Dorico and Finale. • This also includes some information on working in Dorico where I show fixing a file imported from Finale and composing a brand new drumline cadence in Dorico. For 6 years I was the Drumline Instructor at Loyola University Chicago where I composed a lot of different music for drumline. Metronome practice is a key part of the rehearsal process with a drumline and a tool like DropSpin is perfect in its integration into the process.
