At around 8:00 PM, residents reported hearing gunshots, prompting a rapid response from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. • According to reports, a witness observed an individual with a rifle firing shots towards the apartment complex. The witness noted that the shooter subsequently placed the rifle into the trunk of a sedan before fleeing the area. This alarming incident led to a series of 911 calls from concerned residents, who sought immediate assistance. • Upon arrival, police officers discovered eight rifle shell casings on the ground, confirming the number of shots fired. The investigation is currently ongoing, and law enforcement is working diligently to piece together the events that transpired.
