Finally!! • And the journey starts again… 🙈 After having a consultation, the doctors suggested I start off with TCA cross and leave subcision for later down the track. • ✅What is it? TCA CROSS is the chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) using trichloroacetic acid (TCA). • ⚠️What scars does it treat? • It is mostly for ice pick acne scars, large deep pores and small boxcar scars. • ⁉️ How does it work? TCA works by creating a chemical reaction (in the video you can see areas turning white- this is called frosting)This will eventually scab and lead to the formation of new collagen fibres that increase the height of the treated scars/pores. • ▶️ How many sessions do I need? • Minimal of 3. Will see how my skin responds to this treatment before going further/adding other modalities to my course. • 🙈Is TCA CROSS Painful? • TCA CROSS is slightly uncomfortable but it is not painful. Felt like nettle stings or small ant bites, and is over within minutes! A bit of fanning helps! • ⚠️ Down time? Full recovery from a TCA CROSS procedure is expected within five to seven days. HOWEVER it takes about a month for new collagen to form so full effect isn’t visible after 7 days. • I’ll update you via stories, my YouTube channel and report back soon! • Clinic: @pavilioncosmetic in Crows Nest, Sydney Australia. • (Specifically trusted and chose this clinic, as it’s led by skilled professionals. I had a consultation prior and felt safe and confident to partner with them for this treatment course) • #TCACROSS #scartreatment #acnescars #boxcars #chemicalpeel #cosmetics #reconstructionofscars • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/prettyprogr... • Tiktok:   / prettyprogress23   • Facebook:   / prettyprogress23   • Blog: prettyprogress.com • Shop my shelf: https://shoplist.us/prettyprogress23
