Jesus then speaks a strong word of judgment to the towns of Chorazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum—places where He had performed many miracles but where the people had not repented. He says, 'Woe to you... If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.' • Jesus is lamenting the fact that, despite witnessing His miracles and hearing His teachings, these towns remained unrepentant. He goes so far as to say that it will be more bearable for the cities of Tyre, Sidon, and even Sodom on the day of judgment than for these unrepentant towns. • This passage is a stark reminder of the responsibility we have when we encounter the truth of Jesus. The more we know of Him, the more we are called to respond with repentance and faith. • 📖 Want to go deeper? Watch the Full Video! • Thanks for watching this short!
