Evidence - Chapter 13: Direct Circumstantial Evidence (CLP) • There are two (2) types of evidence:- • (a) direct evidence; and • (b) circumstantial evidence. • Direct evidence is evidence of facts in issue. Eg, in a murder case where the deceased was stabbed, a witness saw A stabbed the deceased. The witness can give direct evidence of the actus reus. • Circumstantial evidence is evidence of relevant facts. Eg, in a murder case where the deceased was stabbed, the fact that A fled the scene of the crime is a relevant fact. • #clp #law #evidence #direct #circumstantial • Like Subscribe our: • FB Page: / student-counsel-102849881092003 • Youtube: / @studentcounsel2246 • College: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.ph... • CLP Notes: / 10226392185814751 • LLB Notes: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.ph...
