How to Harvest Sweet Basil

When harvesting basil it's incredibly important to do it correctly, otherwise your plant will get tall and spindly and ultimately fall over and die... and that's no beuno! Using a sharp pair of scissors, simply cut the main stem directly above a node (node: junction where two side branches come off the main stem). After you harvest, you'll notice two new branches growing out from the node and you have effectively doubled the amount of harvests you can get in the future!
