Banish Converging Verticals! • The DxO PhotoLab 7 Geometry Palette contains the tools you need to correct the type of distortion that becomes a real issue in photographs of urban landscapes. • Converging verticals are the bane of an urban photographer's life, the problem is simple, the photographer stands at the base of a building and with a level camera, crops the top off the building. Tilt the camera up and your parallel lines will converge. • Add a wide angle lens and the problem gets worse. Objects in the corners will begin to resemble a Salvador Dali painting. And for some photographs that's fine.
