Adding water/cleanser mix, wringing out sponge, mopping ceramic floor, and using scrubber (blue) strip, as part of obligation to Home Depot Seeds program (i.e., try products for free in exchange for expedient use and review). • [UPDATE] • After just three uses (the first was in this video), the sponge head pops out for no apparent reason every time I try to use it. The hooks that hold the rollers down (similar to that of vehicle sun visors) broke off on one side. I'm the only one who uses the mop, and have not abused it any way, and always stored it head-up, so there would be no stress on the sponge (plus, it gives the sponge more exposure to the air to dry out; after that, I put a bag over it to keep the dust off the sponge head), I have to conclude that I simply got a bad one from the store (maybe somebody tried it a little too zealously before I bought it). Regardless, this does not bode well for the mop, as it is, apparently, very fragile, and unnecessarily so (thicker plastic or strong material would have cost a tiny bit more and lasted a long longer). However, I managed a very simple fix by removing the sponge head with the blue nuts, and wrapping twist tie (available in spools at some dollar, department, hardware/lumber stores, and online) around the broken hook. If it doesn't hold (which it has during one use), then I will try galvanized wire, of which I have plenty at home. You may see photos of the damage and fix at http://OmniDoc.org/generis/fixedmop.htm .
