New project brings archive Irish clips to nursing homes

We visited a nursing home in Rathcoole in west Co Dublin this week to drop in on a screening of some gems from the Irish Film Institute's archive. • Nursing Homes Ireland has teamed up with the IFI for the Reel Memories Initiative to bring the screenings of Irish ads, documentaries and commercials from as far back as the 1930s to residents all across the country. • TheJournal.ie is an Irish news website that invites its users to shape the news agenda.
