Aquatic habitats and fish in the Lekulu River Zambia

This video shows the aquatic habitats and biotopes in the Lekulu River, a tributary of Lake Bangweulu in Zambia. These watercourses are tributaries of the upper Congo River system. • The underwater videos begin at 7:12. • An interesting mixture of fish but mostly appears to be Zambezian where species such as Enteromius fasciolatus, Enteromius cf. eutaenia and Cyphomyrus discorhynchus are common. • Some interesting fish also include Sargochromis mellandi, Pollimyrus stappersii, Labeobarbus trachypterus (Mpifu) and Nannocharax minutus.
