The Danskin OHV Area Trails encompasse 60,000 acres and provide more than 150 miles of Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM) and All-terrain Vehicle (ATV) trails in a mountainous, high desert setting. • Trails of varying difficulty from Easiest to Most Difficult occur within the area providing recreation opportunities for riders of all skill levels. • The area is composed of predominantly National Forest System land, but includes State of Idaho Endowment land and land administered by the Bureau of Land Management. • There are also several private land parcels within the area. Motorized use is limited to OHMs and ATVs less than 50 inches wide on designated trails only. • Weather and conditions permitting, the Danskin Trail System is normally open from April 11 to January 1. Check with the Mountain Home Ranger District for updates. 208-587-7961 • • There are three main sections of the Danskin Trail System and three main access trailheads named with 300, 400 and 500 numbers. • The Danskin #300 group is accessed at the Bender Creek Trailhead. (Latitude 43.52809 / Longitude -115.86913). • The Danskin #400 group is accessed at the Willow Creek Trailhead.
