A beautiful, behind-the-scenes look at some upside-down jellyfish (Cassiopea sp.) These jellies live in shallow, tropical intertidal zones—mudflats, lagoons, and mangroves—where they can make the best use of sunlight for photosynthesis. They come in a variety of colors, ranging from blue to green to brown to white, to everything in between.
