Sampita is such a classic dessert in Bosnia. Mine never lasts more than 24 hours. Who can resist a cloud?! • My dad tells me how he used to go into town get so excited to eat a piece of sampita at the local dessert spot - his favorite slastičarna. It also happens to be my husband’s favorite. So, after we got married he moved to the U.S., I had to learn to make it. It’s not readily available here after all.
