500mb geopotential height seasonal anomaly animation from Sept 1 2006 to Sept 15 2010

This animation is created from 1476 images plotting 500 hectopascal geopotential height anomaly in a 90-days running mean basis for each day from September 1, 2006 to September 15, 2010. (each date shows a mean from 45 days before to 45 days after it, compared to the 1968-1996 mean for the corresponding period). Each plot was made by using the NOAA daily mean composites plotting page (http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/data/com..., performing a batch download using an ad-hoc python script made by me.
