How to Catch Stripers from Shore with Swimming Lures

Click Here to Subscribe! 👉🏻https://bit.ly/2Tj6OsF • During the heat of July and August on Cape Cod, the best fishing for stripers will almost always occur during the night. • There are many different baits and lures that work well for striped bass at night from the beaches of Cape Cod. However, one of my favorite types of lures to use are black/purple Daiwa SP Minnows, Bombers and Joe Baggs Swarters. • Fishing these swimming plugs is pretty simple. All you have to do is cast them out and slowly, very slowly retrieve them back towards shore. Oftentimes the stripers will just barely bump the lure, and you may miss a lot of fish until you fine tune your technique. • In this video I am fishing during the middle of the night along a long stretch of Cape Cod beach. I was fishing the first 3 hours before, and the first 3 hours after high tide.
