Chetanya Golechha told us about how both his company, Infusion, and he himself have grown through entrepreneurship. When younger, he wasn’t the teachers’ favourite kid by a mile - he didn’t have perfect English, perfect grades, or a perfect self image. After an entrepreneurship fest and a series of tournaments, he set up his startup and soon received 3 crores of funding. A desire to actually engage with customers made him turn to door to door campaigns, despite starting off very introverted. Having dealt with campaigns against him, investor withdrawal and a series of obstacles, he spoke to us about pursuing dreams and learning to fail. From failing in 7th grade to owning a company worth 5 million USD, Chetanya Golechha, the 17-year-old hailing from Jaipur is the new boy wonder on the block! His foods and beverages company has managed to garner much praise and several awards from prestigious institutions like IIT Kanpur, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, IIM Indore, IIM Ahmedabad, ICreate, BITS Pilani and MNIT. Leading newspapers and magazines like the Times of India, The Hindu and the Business Standard have also featured his incredible story, making him something of a teen sensation overnight. His story is nothing short of a roller coaster ride, complete with twists and turns, bound to leave you thrilled and buzzing with ideas of your own! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
