Smart Home company Heatworks has released a countertop, internet-connected dishwasher, designed for use in micro homes. • Made in collaboration with design firm frog, the compact the Tetra dishwasher doesn't require plumbing to work, and therefore can be used anywhere that has a standard electrical outlet. • In an attempt to minimise the footprint of the historically large dishwasher, the eco-friendly device is manually loaded with water, so that the user is aware of exactly how much is being used. • The dishwasher can hold up to two full place settings – including plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery. Or, alternatively, it can hold up to 10 plates, or 12 pint glasses. • Read more on Dezeen: https://www.dezeen.com/?p=1176406 • WATCH NEXT: Sgnl smart watch strap lets you receive calls through your fingertips - • Sgnl smart watch strap lets you recei... • Subscribe to our YouTube channel for the latest architecture and design movies: http://bit.ly/1tcULvh • Like Dezeen on Facebook: / dezeen • Follow Dezeen on Twitter: / dezeen • Follow us on Instagram: / dezeen • Check out our Pinterest: / dezeen
