Every so often, Peckforton Light Railway has to run a special goods train to meet the needs of customers along the railway. Today, the railway has decided to put together a special coal train. Coal was a staple commodity in 1930s UK for businesses and households. The train runs Down and back Up the line, delivering coal wagons to coal yards and lineside businesses. PLR is a hypothetical three-foot narrow gauge railway which might have been built to serve the copper mines, local businesses and communities in rural Cheshire UK. It is a 45mm gauge, 15mm scale garden railway. For more information see http://riksrailway.blogspot.com - Music Morning by Kevin McLeod (http://incompetech.com ).
