India is developing a 30 gigawatt hybrid — wind and solar — renewable energy project on the salt flats of Gujarat — one of the largest salt deserts in the world. It's located along the country's border with Pakistan near an army outpost called India Bridge • Rising from the bare expanse of the large salt desert that separates India from Pakistan is what will likely be the world's largest renewable energy project when completed three years from now. • The solar and wind energy project will be so big that it will be visible from space, according to developers of what is called the Khavda renewable energy park, named after the village nearest to the project site. • #solarenergy #renewableenergy #indiatoday • Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video. • All you need to do is PRESS THE BELL ICON next to the Subscribe button! • India Today TV is India's leading English News Channel.
