EATON ARROW HART GFCI SELF-TEST RECEPTACLE SGF15LA • Self-test ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) • For GFCI protection in these areas of electrical shock risk: Bathroom, kitchen, basement, garage outdoors. • 15A-125V AC • 20A Feed-Through Rated • 2-Pole, 3-Wire Grounding • This is a GFCI Self-Test Receptacle. It periodically performs an internal automatic test of its ability to respond to a ground fault. Failure of this test means the GFCI has reached its end of life . This GFCI will trip and will not reset (no output power) when it has reached its end of life . This prevents power when no GFCI protections is available. To confirm that the GFCI has reached its end of life , check the indicator light on the front of the GFCI. If the indicator light is flashing, the GFCI has reached its end of life and should be replaced. • Safety Features: • GFCIs provide protection from dangerous electrical shocks that might occur from faulty appliances or tools, wet or damp locations. • End of Life lockout and denial of power. • NO power delivered if miswired. • Automatically self tests periodically to ensure GFCI protection. • Easy-to-use TEST/RESET buttons. • Large visual indicator. • Check out more home improvement tips in our e-books https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B.... • #selftestinggfci #gfci #gfcioutlet
