This Video from Yehudim Tamilim community is enacted to show the non Jewish Tamil audience on how welcoming the Shabbat ritual is done . • This Shabbat ritual is enacted using Orthodox Jewish liturgy blending Ashkenazi and Sephardic style with heavy accented Hebrew, Aramaic and using the rich Tamil language as well to understand the Jewish prayers and blessings • Owing to time constraints, all the prayers and Psalms/Tehillim recited in this video are recited up to just two stanzas • This Video was neither enacted on Shabbat nor released on Shabbat • some prayers are deliberately missed, owing to time constraints whereas in actual shabbat ritual this won't happen and may prolong for 3 hours of prayer service • The usual Shabbat Timings for Tamil nadu region will be every week Friday evening to Saturday evening • Kabbalat Shabbat : 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Friday) • Havdalah : 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Saturday) • The laws regarding permitted and not permitted will be in an another video • This Video is only a Jewish religious cultural demonstration video of Kabbalat Shabbat and Kiddush Shabbatim and never to propagate Judaism with an intention for religious conversion .
