In how many of your tracks do you use an orchestral VST? I would say that orchestral elements are probably at the top of my most used instruments next to piano. So I was all the more pleased that I was able to spend about 10 hours with the new Hyperion Strings Ensemble from Soundiron last week and produce this showacse track. • I'm a huge fan of ghibli music and its soundtrack, so I thought it was about time to re-arrange the totro soundtrack and test the virtual instrument and record a library only demo track. (I re-arrange and analyse my favourite OSTs regularly, as an exercise) • library only isn't quite right - as usual, i didn't use any external plugins, but i did use some tracks from the hyperion brass elements, the soundiron olympus choir and a piano to showcase the potential of the hyperion strings in a larger ensemble or instrumentation. • The Hyperion Strings come with a huge number of different articulations in 4 mic positions, which I also used intensively via keyswitch. The whole thing felt great, you have very good control over the recording performance, which is extremely helpful if you want to work creatively. • Let me know if you have any questions about the library! • #soundiron #orchestral #strings #vst #musicproducer
