Chevy Cruze Sonic running rough P0106 P0171 fixed

If you have a 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, or 2019 Chevy Cruze or Chevy Sonic, and your engine is running rough and you have a check engine light with code P0171, P0106, P015B, P1101 then you most likely have a vacuum leak in your engine. The Chevy Sonic, Chevy Volt, Buick Encore, and Cadillac ELR are all similar as long as you have the 1.4L engine. The PCV valve which is located in the valve cover has been known to fail. It develops a small hole and that creates a vacuum leak and causes the problem. To fix the engine rough running and check engine light you must replace the valve cover.
