Paragliding Mt Babadag Butterfly Valley

Today I decided to fly down into Butterfly valley and then catch the local water taxi back. • A few things I did before was check with a local if it's safe to fly that day into the valley, I also wore a life jacket. • Weather conditions • https://shmfethiye.kapadokya.edu.tr/e... • Cable car booking website. • https://shmfethiye.kapadokya.edu.tr/e... • Weather station on Mt Babadag • https://www.mountain-forecast.com/pea... • • Important bits of advice • Take swimmers while waiting for the water taxi (300 Try Lira one way) • Sandals, Thongs or Crocs buy at Oludeniz for 10 pounds the rocks and sand are dangerously hot and burnt feet suck :) • Take some beach sandals the rocks into water are ankle breakers. • Take some cash to pay for water taxi and any food or drink you want. • Try and land on the beach before 11:30am peak season as it will be harder with Hundreds of people standing around as well as the boats you can see moored will be in your path to setup.
