NSL 141: http://bit.ly/1i1jivY • Never Stop Learning: http://bit.ly/Umg2OD • Ever try to apply the Gaussian Blur to some art in Adobe Illustrator and get a box around your artwork? I did and it took me a while to find out what was going on. In this video I apply the Gaussian Blur Live Effect to some basic artwork and show you how I messed things up. Then we pull up the Document Raster Effects Settings that are found in the Effects menu at the top. In this panel we can control things like the resolution for the documents effects and we can add some area around our paths for our effects to fit into nicely. Once we've updated the panel, you'll see that we get a nice clean drop off with the artwork color.
