Want to create breakout rooms in Microsoft Teams? Let me show you step by step how to create several breakout rooms. • First, you want to make sure you create a team from scratch or if you already have a team set up, invite the people you want to that team via email. • Then, you can click the 3 dots next to the team name and create channels, which will be the breakout groups. • You can set up the breakout rooms as private and public. Private breakout rooms will only be available to people you choose. • Public breakout rooms can be accessed by anyone in the team. • To start a video chat inside of each group, you'll have to click the camera icon to meet now. This will activate breakout rooms video conferencing. Do this with each group. • As the creator, you can now jump between the general or main session and the breakout rooms. When you join a room, you'll automatically get pauses in the other group. • You can also click the exercise tab on top to share a file or document inside of each group. • Thank you for watching this video!
