The Middletown Hummelstown Railroad, affectionately called the Milk Honey Line , is home to both regular tourist passenger trains, as well as freight operations along its 11 mile route between its namesake towns in Pennsylvania. BJVP visited for the first time on Thursday, July 9, 2015 to catch their passenger train in action. Pulling that day's trip was GE 65-ton center cab diesel #2 - which was caught at various points along the line. Unfortunately, this can be a tough line to chase, as there are not that many public access points to view the train - a photo charter may be a better option to get the optimum shots here. • After the two passenger trips, a special treat occured - the Railroad fired up their Alco S-6 #151, originally from the Western Maryland Railway (and still painted as such) for a freight movement down the line. I caught the engine fired up and leaving the yard limits as it headed down towards the plant to switch out a few cars. • Enjoy this look at the Middletown Hummelstown Railroad, otherwise known as the Milk Honey Line !
