The All American Rejects came by to talk about why they decided to cover Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger, the stories behind their biggest hits including Swing Swing and Gives You Hell, the possibility of a new album, and more! • Since forming in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1999, the All-American Rejects have released four albums, numerous hit singles such as “Swing, Swing” and “Dirty Little Secret” and toured alongside everyone from Blink-182 to Bon Jovi. Having grown up, in his own words, in front of a record button since the age of 17, frontman Tyson Ritter spent the next 15 years recording and touring nonstop. Following their 2012 album, Kids In The Street, the group went on a much-needed hiatus. They reemerged in 2017 with the single, Sweat” and again in 2019 with an EP.
