The congregation at San Diego's historic Grace Lutheran Church sing the hymn of praise, This Is the Feast (Lutheran Service Book #155), during the evening service on the church's 100th Anniversary, the twenty-fourth Sunday after Pentecost, 2012. This traditional hymn of praise is based on Revelation 5:12-13 and 19:5-9, and sometimes you'll hear it sung antiphonally, with each side of the church taking turns singing each verse, and coming together for the common refrain. • This is the feast of victory for our God. • Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. • Worthy is Christ, the Lamb who was slain, whose blood set us free to be people of God. • This is the feast of victory for our God. • Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. • Power, riches, wisdom and strength, and honor, blessing, and glory are His. • This is the feast of victory for our God. • Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. • Sing with all the people of God, and join in the hymn of all creation. • Blessing, honor, glory, and might be to God and the Lamb forever. Amen. • This is the feast of victory for our God. • Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. • For the Lamb who was slain has begun His reign. Alleluia. • This is the feast of victory for our God. • Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. • Our music videos are not actually intended to give you something to look at, but only to share with the listener a sample of beautiful, sacred music and let you hear what you might find in an LCMS Lutheran church today.
