In the recording studio, I used to use a really good microphone on a stand. Fidelity was OK, but it didn't allow much movement. With this instrument mic, the fidelity remains good or better. Recording results are better than before because my volume is much more constant because of the 'Locked Distance' from the instrument to the mic.
