The 1976 2- vinyl LP set Space Metal was a compilation of material taken from UFO's first three albums-the only albums recorded with the original line-up of guitarist Mick Bolton, bassist Pete Way, drummer Andy Parker, and vocalist Phil Mogg. • The first two were studio albums, while the third was the bands first live album, recorded in Japan. • Personal favorite tracks-in fact my favorites of all of the bands works-are the tracks Flying at 26+ minutes and Star Storm at 18+ minutes (both originally from the bands second album Flying ).
