Enormous 180ft chimney collapses in seconds in controlled explosion

A small crowd gathered to watch the demolition of the Rugeley Power Station's chimney this morning which has been an iconic part of the Staffordshire skyline since it opened in 1964. It took just four seconds for the entire chimney to come crashing down in a cloud of dust and smoke.
