Join BimmerWorld and Red Line Oils for a lap around VIR with the Production V8. Originally one of the first ten BMW E92 M3s in the United States, this project car was a development test mule for BimmerWorld performance parts offerings. In-house fabrication at BimmerWorld as well as development partners such as Performance Friction and Motion Control Suspension allow a multitude of parts and designs to be track tested in the real world, as publicized by Roundel Magazine. In the fall of 2010, the car was transformed into a GRAND-AM Road Racing GS-class racecar where it ran in a pure track-prepared trim, but due to series regulations still retained a very stock group of parts. • • Today, the Production V8 begins its third life as an all-out track development machine and racecar.
