A Questionable Elevator Door Problem

Moline Accessories Company (MAC) door interlocks are sometimes very interesting. Over time, they start to become worn down and weak. This elevator is a fine example. While the interlock has closed, the entire bottom of the hoistway doors can be pulled open to a concerning degree. It's a bit harder to tell on camera, but the gap is big enough so that my hand would fit.
