This is a common question by beginner and intermediate spearo's - so here are the main differences between Open Head Muzzle and Inverted Roller Spearguns. • Depending on where and what you are hunting, the speargun is what helps you reach the level of becoming a ‘Huntmaster’! • The main types of spearguns used today are: • Open Muzzle - This is a good introductory gun. A good start would be around the 100cm mark. This will get you anything from reef to kingfish and is a great all rounder. • Compound (Invert) roller guns - This is the equivalent of a compound archery bow, in comparison to a normal bow. The compound roller gun produces more power, efficiency, accuracy and minimal recoil on the handle. These guns have shot many world record fish and was used by one of our divers who shot a 106.3kg Southern Blue Fin Tuna World Record in 2016. • To learn more visit our site on https://www.huntmaster.com/ • Or come in and speak to one of our team at our shopfront located at 302-304 Woodville Road Guildford, Sydney Australia.
