In this video essay I talk about the tragic tale of 3 cancelled games. One being a Retro styled game like bionic commado called Grapple Knight. Another title that was going to be a dark twist on classic fairy tales, similar to Alice Returns To Madness, called Twistales. The last one was going to combine rogue-like and souls-like while using cute girls called Neverinth. All of these games had potential to be awesome and have a small community around them, but they couldn’t make it to the finish line. Game development can be rough so there has to be enough luck where everything comes together to get that video game out there. Tell me, what games did you wait for only to get canceled?
