These dumplings are similar to Russian Palmeni with some slight differences in the dough. These are delicious and relatively easy (though labor-intensive) to make. • Follow me on: • Youtube: / @worldtravelercooking • Tiktok: / einhverfr • Instagram: / christravers76 • Patreon: / einhverfr • Recipe (serves 4) • ---------------------------- • 360 g all purpose flour • 220ml milk • 2.5 spoons of oil • Salt to taste (I added 1t) • 500g minced meat (chicken or pork usually) • 1 medium onion • salt and pepper to taste • Boil the milk. Add salt, oil and milk to lour and kneed into a soft, non-sticky, pliable dough. Cover and let sit at least 15 minutes. • Mix the onions and meat together, and season with salt and pepper. Mix into a homogeneous mass. • Roll a snake out of the dough (doens't need to be all at once) and cut into uniform pieces (I used 12-15g pieces). Roll into circles with a drinking glass or rolling pin. Place a spoonfull of filling into the dough circle, fold, and seal. • Boil 6-8 min. Serve ith chicken broth, parsley and/or green onions, and sour cream.
