We take you inside the cockpit showing what it is like to fly the Boeing 747-400 ERF. Quito is one of the highest elevated airports in the world. It is located between mountains on a hill with a steep canyon on short final creating potentially challenging winds for landing. It is therefore classified as a category C airport, requiring special training for the pilots before being allowed to fly to Quito. Landing was made on runway 36.
