Strain Review Sesh Trop Cherry by Vivid

Hello! Today I'll be going over this Trop Cherry flower coming from Vivid! • Trop Cherry or Tropicana Cherry is a cross of Tropicana Cookies x Cherry Cookies. This batch has a total Canna at about 24.4% with the total THC at about 20% and no other listed Cannabinoids present. The Terpenes test out to 1.58% with Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Linalool being the dominant three with no specific percentages provided. • Now, contrary to the low Terpene numbers, this one has a pretty nice nose and flavor profile to it! Very tropical citrus and cherry. This is because of chemicals we know as, flavonoids, or Volatile Sulfur Compounds. This strain in particular has Tropicana Sulfur Compounds, as they have been termed. They provide a mix of citrus, cherry, berry, and other more tropical notes. If you're interested in learning more, check out Abstrax Tech on Instagram! They have a lot more specifics on these compounds. Much more than I could write here. But anyway, of course the Terpenes that ARE present help support that profile overall. And I do think a slightly stronger Terpene profile would boost the overall pungency a good bit. • As far as the effects go, it's pretty much exactly what I expected and I love that! It's lightly uplifted in the head high but has an overall very relaxed and calm experience. It worked very well as an all day kind of strain, as it provided a pretty clear and workable head high while having a nice enough body high to take care of all aches, pains, and nerve/muscle spasms. And because of the head high this has, it naturally kind of boosted my appetite but it's not the kind of thing that's going to give you crazy munchies. And for the right person, this might work very well as a sleep aid. As it has a very calm and happy kind of high. It might be exactly what you need but wouldn't be my very first choice. And as you could probably expect, it could be a bit stronger. I did find myself wanting to use more of this to medicate to get to the same level as some other things I have been using. • So that's that!
