I show you how to use a combination of Flex Pitch and Logic's built in Pitch Correction plugin to achieve a full auto tune effect. • Auto tune is used commonly in both pop music, and electronic music genres. It has become so popular that if you don't do it, listeners may find your track strange to listen to, and they won't like the vocal as much as they could. Antares has a very popular auto tune plugin which is worth hundreds of dollars, but fortunately we can still achieve the same basic effect with the stock plugins in Logic. First I show you how to use Flex Pitch to make sure that each note in the vocal is in the correct scale, by selecting all the notes and scale quantising them. You can also drag around the pitches to create a new melody within Flex Pitch if you like. Once that's done, just add Logic's Pitch Correction plugin, and set the time to the lowest setting to get the most auto-tuned sound, and that's basically it! Let me know if there's anything that doesn't make sense to you. • I hope you enjoyed the video, and feel free to ask any questions you have in the comments and I'd be more than happy to answer them quickly!
