This EASY CASSAVA CAKE RECIPE is made of fresh cassava, sugar and coconut milk (3 ingredients only). Here you can make cassava cake WITHOUT OVEN. • CASSAVA CAKE - is a very popular dish in the Philippines which is commonly served during gatherings and special occasions. It is a traditional Filipino moist cake commonly eaten as a snack or dessert. • cassava cake, no bake cassava cake, no oven cassava cake, steamed cassava cake, 3 ingredients cassava cake, easy cassava cake recipe, cassava cake bars • INGREDIENTS: • • 2 cups grated cassava • • 1/2 cup + 1/3 cup white sugar (of which 1/2 cup is for caramelization) • • 500 ml coconut milk • • Cheese(optional) • PROCEDURES: • 1. In a saucepan with low to medium heat, melt 1/2 cup sugar until it caramelizes or becomes golden brown. • 2. Once done, pour and spread in the bottom of a tin then allow it to cool down. • 3. In a bowl, combine 2 cups grated and squeezed fresh cassava, 500 ml coconut milk and 1/3 cup white sugar. Mix well until sugar completely dissolved. • 4. Pour the mixture in the prepared tin with caramelized sugar. Spread evenly by tapping or shaking slightly. • 5. Cover it with aluminum foil. • 6. Steam for about 45 mins. to 1 hour. • 7 After an hour, remove aluminum foil and place the cake in a banana leaf. Let it cool and cut into 16 equal slices. • 8. Put some toppings like cheese or latik (optional). • 9. Then separate each cake slices into a cupcake liners. • 10.
