They have dominant behaviour over there omega. They are able to impregnate Omegas who are in heat. • Male Alphas usually have a knot when aroused and Alpha Female can impregnate Omega's too they are the only female species that can. Alpha's also have a rut cycle which comes in every months to 4 months. Alpha are usually the Seme in the story. Alpha's are portrayed as strong bodied type and are usually tough and superior. They are highly affected by heat cycles caused by an omega and sometimes lose control because of the effects of the heat. An Omega's heat can cause their rut if they are too effected and aroused. • Betas are the mid rank in the dominance hierarchy and have the normal human function although they can get pregnant they have a hard time getting pregnant because they don't have heat cycles or ruts and they can impregnate but only the males can.They may be the peacemakers between Alphas and Omegas. • Omegas are the lowest rank in the dominance hierarchy. They can get pregnant and go into heat. Male Omegas are self-lubricating and have the ability to become pregnant. • Omegas are often portrayed as the most fragile of the hierarchy, with frailer bodies and painful presentations. They are effected by Ruts and submit mostly as they lose all energy and power and a rut can cause their heat to trigger. They are usually the Uke in the story. • An omega's heat cycle they go through once a month and can last from anywhere between 2 days to a weeks. • Heat suppressants - This is a drug that suppresses ones heat, however it may not work on all omegas and can have some life threating effects. • Pairs / Bonds - An Alpha / Dominant Alpha can only become a pair with an omega by biting their napes and claiming them as their own, they have to bite the omega while they are in heat or it doesn't work. Omega's can only have one bond so they usually wear omega collars to stop random people from biting them. • Hope it makes senses and that you have a better understanding on Omega verse.
